As we move forward, the most significant metric on which we measure progress will be the number of Indian families that escape from poverty and move into sustainable levels of prosperity through the efforts of our partner organisations.
We believe this can be achieved in a number of ways, including through the gifted young adults that we support through to sustainable careers; or through the incremental economic growth that India achieves through better policy and stronger institutions.
We will work towards the long-term goal of seeing at least 10,000 families escape the poverty orbit every year with multi-generational multiplicative outcomes through our direct interventions. We hope to see at least half of all Indian households move into prosperity within a generation.
As the building blocks for this progress, we’d like to see the most disadvantaged communities in our society participate in this journey of development. We believe that this growth should be sustainably supported by institutions that advance the cause of a more equal, just, capable and fraternal society.
